Preparation Using Infant Formula
Prepare 170 ml of infant formula according to your baby’s age by following the instructions on the packaging or on our website. Pour the prepared formula into a bowl and mix in 18g of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge (about 3-4 tablespoons). Let the mixture sit until it swells and cools to approximately 37°C before serving.
Half-Milk Porridge
Boil 100 ml of milk and 100 ml of water. Allow the liquids to cool to about 50°C. Combine both in a bowl, then stir in 25g of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge (about 5 tablespoons). Let the porridge swell and cool to a serving temperature of approximately 37°C.
Preparation with Breast Milk
Add 25g of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge (about 5 tablespoons) to 130 ml of warm breast milk, stir, and serve.
Important: To preserve essential nutrients, ensure the milk is not heated above 40°C.
Milk-Free Porridge
Boil 200 ml of water and let it cool to around 50°C. Mix the water with 25g of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge (about 5 tablespoons) and 1 teaspoon of Holle Organic Oil Supplement for Infants and Children. Stir until the desired consistency is reached.
Milk-Free Cereal with Fruits or Vegetables
Mix 10g of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge (about 2 tablespoons) with 100g of fresh pureed fruit and 1 teaspoon of Holle Organic Oil Supplement for Infants and Children. If needed, add boiled water cooled to 50°C. Alternatively, mix 160g of warm vegetable puree with 2 teaspoons of Holle Organic Oil Supplement for Infants and Children.
Follow Milk Porridge
Boil 150 ml of water and let it cool to about 50°C. Mix 5 scoops of Holle Organic Follow-on Formula 2 with 18g of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge (3-4 tablespoons) until smooth. After the 10th month, you can substitute with Holle Organic Follow-on Formula 3 for preparation.
Measurements:
- 1 tablespoon of Holle Organic Rolled Oats Porridge = 5g
- 1 teaspoon of Holle Organic Oil Supplement = 4g
Important Information
Begin introducing porridges around 4-6 months, based on your baby’s development and needs. Porridge should not replace breast milk for babies under 4 months. We recommend starting with single-grain porridges such as Rice or Millet Porridge. Holle offers gluten-free options like Organic Rice Porridge, Organic Millet Porridge, Organic 3-Grain Porridge, and Organic Millet Porridge Apple-Pear. For wheat-free options, try Organic Spelt Porridge and Organic Rolled Oats Porridge. Note that Organic Semolina Porridge and Organic Baby Muesli Porridge contain wheat.
