Why is Kendamil Goat made from whole milk instead of skimmed?
Because whole milk keeps its natural fat structure intact. Kendamil states this is the reason its goat formula retains the milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) — a component lost when milk is skimmed and rebuilt with vegetable oils, which is how most infant formula is manufactured.

Is goat milk formula easier to digest than cow's milk formula?
Goat milk protein forms softer, smaller curds in the stomach than the A1/A2 protein mix in conventional cow's milk. This is a physical property of goat casein, not a marketing claim — though it is not the same thing as being hypoallergenic.

How do you prepare Kendamil Goat Stage 1 formula?
Boil fresh water and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes so it stays at least 70°C, pour the measured water into a sterilised bottle first, then add one level scoop (4.3g) per 30ml of water, shake to dissolve, cool to body temperature and feed within one hour.

Sterilise everything
Wash your hands, then sterilise the bottle, teat, cap and ring following the manufacturer's instructions.

Boil, then cool 30 minutes
Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes, so it stays at least 70°C.

Water into the bottle first
Pour the measured water into the sterilised bottle before you add any powder — never the other way round.

Use only the scoop supplied in this tin and level each one with the straight edge inside the lid.

Cap and shake well
Shake until the powder is fully dissolved, then swap the cap for a sterilised teat.

Cool to body temperature, test a drop on the inside of your wrist, and feed straight away.
Never use artificially softened water or water that has been boiled more than once. Prepare a fresh bottle for every feed, never reheat, never microwave, and discard anything left an hour after your baby starts drinking.
